Destia and Triona cooperate

Triona has a long experience working with traffic information. Today Triona has customers within the area in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Triona is also taking part in several European projects and in the Traveler Information and Services Association (TISA)*. By getting into a closer cooperation with Destia Triona takes part in developing the market for traffic information.

Destia already offers broadcasted traffic information by using an encrypted RDSTMC service in Finland and is now in the phase of carrying out a larger roll-out of RDS-TMC services throughout the Nordic and Baltic countries. Apart from traffic information services Destia’s knowledge in winter road condition and warning systems are one of the best in the world with he possibility to predict winter road conditions up to 6 hours ahead.
